Why do we need multivitamins?

Well, when I thought about this topic, I just thought of searching this here online, and interesting it seems to be one of the most researched topics! I am not surprised ,since we all crave for a healthy and fit body.

But then the before we move to the answer of the big question, we must understand our body-which is simple and complex. The cells in our body undergoes changes every now or then. Every cell has a lifespan, seems to be around 11 months on an average. How good a cell is determined by the amount of nourishment it gets, so as to perform its complex duties. The nourishment comes from the food we eat.

In today’s lifestyle, there is another big question of whether we are meeting the minimum and daily requirement of minerals.Well, if you live in the world of fast food and luxury hotels (Some call the crabby life), well there is big chance you never meet the daily requirements. I would not have a problem in telling you that there are many a time you visit the doctor in a year. Again, there are still people who maintain the balance, and I should say thin line balance between the cooked items and fruits and vegetables. Why I insist on the thin line, is because it is really a thinline. The foods you eat need not necessarily compensate for your needs. Example, a mine worker would need lots of iron in his daily routine than food which contains more on other ones.

Now, I am not an advocate of any brand of multivitamin tablets, but then many researches have shown we do not maintain the daily requirement of vitamins and minerals in our lifestyle. We have lots in our minds and bodies to take care of and would not be thinking on these lines. Well, one thing we are going to gain by usage of vitamins in our lives is prolonged stay from many of the ailments and maintaining that healthy body that you always wanted.

So, if you can meet your needs by your current routine, it is fine to be away from using multivitamins. But then this would be better told to you by a doctor, but then if not you could add a multivitamin tablet/food change to your daily regime and see the positive changes in long term.
